They used an outside agency to gather a pool of candidates for this position. After the initial phone interview, the next round was with the CEO. The conversation went well and next steps were outlined, but then I was ghosted entirely by both the outside agency and the CEO. No follow up on next steps, rejection letter, anything. I followed up with both parties over the next few weeks and had the same experience of complete silence. It was a relatively poor experience, considering I had spent a decent amount of time researching the company, its product, and reviews, and to have received no further communication after that initial conversation was a bit unprofessional from the organization.
