I had been requested to call for an interview at 9:30am the next day and they left their number to call. It was a Saturday so I double checked and they confirmed. So I called and of course no answer because they were off! Lol, how do you not know your own schedule? Then finally after having 3 interviews where one of them said I was the #1 candidate, I don’t hear from them for 3 weeks. I had to reach out to them twice until finally someone got back to me and said they went a different direction. Follow up was horrible, and just seemed like a hot mess. If this is any indication of how they run things, then I’m glad I didn’t get it since the Recruiting and Leadership team is a direct extension of the company. Also, don’t be mislead by the title. It is not a Director role at all. It is just a fancier title for Manager since you don’t even really manage any manager direct reports. Salary is sub-par at around low 6-figures. My current company is all about the experience and would never give this type of on boarding experience. We would always make sure that we give a lasting impression regardless if we did not move forward with a candidate.
