Was interviewed by kitchen manager, a FOH a manager, and the owner. The people that worked there seemed great, but the issue came when the owner came to chat with me. He was extremely aggressive in his questioning (felt more like an interrogation). He did not at all like that I hadn’t memorized the website/menu before the interview. It finally came to an end when I was asked to leave by the owner, Adam, after asking about COVID policies for employees, and after he eventually said it was “None of my business.” and I asserted that, “Yes, I do think it’s ‘my business’, when asking about policies regarding masking and vaccination as a potential future employee.” If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about who you’re working for, I don’t know what else does. Definitely dodged a bullet by being thrown out of the interview.
