The process was months long and there was no communication back to me for over two months. The lack of follow up and transparency was unsettling. The interviews, while conventional were challenging due to the lack of professionalism from the hiring manager. They displayed unprofessional behavior, at times coming across as confrontational and disrespectful in their interactions.
The sales leader communication style can be abrasive, became uncomposed at times.
Extremely slow with everything, you have to constantly follow up to schedule interviews. They have a screening test which involves coding in pandas in today’s time where all interviews are based on leetcode or general data manipulation. Two of the 4 people that I spoke to on the hiring panel were extremely rude. One person kept poking me and asking what would you use to keep generating same results from a SQL query every day if you need the top 10 rows. In today’s world of AI they expect you to know the rand() function in SQL which is not even used in a day to day data engineer job. This interviewer ended the interview early saying he wants to take a call. The other interviewer was actively rude as well, smiling and smirking as if he was the smartest person on earth while I was responding to questions. He mentioned that I should be asking questions while we tried to solve a scenario based problem , when I did listen to the feedback and asked more questions he would say things like-“ I already told you this” and kept repeating the same thing without framing the question he had in his mind correctly. Looks like they already had hired someone and wasted my time. Actively rude people don’t waste time on this company
Rude and short interview, they were actively rude. I don't see why you set up an interview to just be rude to the candidate you picked. Would never interview with them again.
