Interview
I applied online. I was contacted 3 days later via MD Anderson HR recruiter to come in for interview with dept manager. I interviewed with manager and asst manager. Both were very welcoming and easy to talk to. We discussed my background and the job. The manager explained details of the job and how the department operates, then gave a tour of the department. Interview lasted approx. 1 hour.

I interviewed with the manager first who described the unit and the patient population in great detail and asked 4 questions. A week later a Second interview was had with a recruiter who asked 2 questions and went over my offer and benefits.

Human resources takes a long time to follow-up, two to three weeks. The interview had great questions and information about your actual role. It was definitely worth the wait. Just a longer process than I was typically used to.

Interview
Interview process and experience went great . Usually nervous during interviews, but interviewer made me feel comfortable during the process. The interview also wasn’t lengthy , 10-20 call with HR and they even made sure to give me time to think about the offer before making a decision.
