I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MITRE (Tampa, FL) in June 2008
Interview
Had a phone interview that was not technical, then was brought in for a in-person interview which included people that were video-conferenced in. They asked me about the projects I worked on and my experience with technologies in their job description. The interview wasn't too technical, and there were no brain teasers or coding questions -- just questions about coding, like what keywords mean.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you optimize a database table with millions of rows?
one lc easy, one rly hard. maybe shouldve brushed up on dsa, but it seemed like the interviewer was chill. he was telling me abt his experience, and life at the company
I applied through other source. I interviewed at MITRE (Bedford, MA)
Interview
the interview was very straightforward. We discussed my background and the work that stimulated the interview, and most importantly it was very much a two way discussion. Interviewers solicited and answered my questions fully.
easy it is meeting w 2 people throughout the day mix of code & chat, some cracking the coding interview required but not necessarily. interview questions are different each time.
