I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MITRE (Omaha, NE) in June 2011
Interview
3 person panel questions on ability to do specific job related tasks. Submitted a resume, contacted by HR, then by lead and answered a few phone questions. Then a formal panel interview.
Pretty standard process. Phone screen and 2 virtual interviews with hiring manager and teams. However, after the final in person meeting, radio silent. I got ghosted and my application still says I'm under consideration after almost 2 months. Very disappointed with how they conducts the overall process.

Question 1
What types of system did you use previously for your analysis?
The interview was scheduled and conducted quickly but took a long time to hear back. The issue was getting all of the interviewers together to coordinate feedback and make the offer. Taking this long might result in losing applicants if other companies are quicker.
Multiple rounds, one skills test, pretty good experience. Thorough background check process and past employment verification. Very normal for this industry. No weird creativity questions. Was able to talk with employees through LinkedIn before interview and I think that helped a little. They seem to allow for internal moves and do a lot of promoting from within
