I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MUFG (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2018
Interview
The interview process went like this:
1. 30m phone screening with the internal recruiter for the role. We discussed the specifics of the opportunity and spoke broadly about salary expectations. I found this to be a pleasant and helpful first interaction with the bank.
2. 30m call with the hiring manager. We discussed my qualifications and background --I was given ample time to ask questions about the role, the team, and the bank.
3. On-site interview. I met with 4 members of the team, plus the hiring manager over ~3.5 hours. Everyone was congenial, smart, and welcoming. Mostly behavioral fit questions with a few technicals.

Question 1
Why this role? What do you know about project finance? What do you know about tax equity transactions? How is your experience relevant? Why do you think you would be a good fit? Etc.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at MUFG (São Paulo, São Paulo) in Feb 2025
Interview
A entrevista foi mais sobre o que eu recebo na minha atual empresa, ou seja, entrevista totalmente feita para analise de mercado. Foi bem pouco o que foi dito pela vaga em si.

Question 1
Qual o meu atual salario? Quais os meus beneficios?
I applied online. I interviewed at MUFG (New York, NY)

1st round with hiring manager, 2nd round with director. Both very nice, easy to talk to, and were very knowledgable about the position and the company. Overall great interview experience
