It was clear to me that the hiring manager didn't know what he was looking for, and to be honest, I'm not sure I would have accepted an offer if I received one. I was sort of turned off by the abusive work culture (ridiculous work/life balance, other human/people issues) I perceived and things that I had been hearing.
