The interview process was confusing and ultimately upsetting. HR set up an interview with a rep from the department I'd be reporting into but never attached me to the invite so I didn't receive confirmation that it was even meant to happen until I got a call about the mistake made. Still, we talked through rescheduling and I took that time to ask about compensation. I was told they could at least match my salary which I would have been okay with. After a really solid interivew with the rep from the department I would have worked in, I had a follow up call with HR. It was then revealed that the actual salary for the role was $30,000 less than what was initially given to me. Then, I was ghosted.
