Interview
They're so desperate, they'll push your through fast. They'll possibly drug test you on the spot. Be ready for that. The interview wasn't that long. They hire from all backgrounds. Even entry level fast food managers.

Interview
First did a phone screening followed by a face-to-face interview. Then I had to do a "day in the life" which is a job shadow to see how things run. At the end, I did a phone interview with the regional manager.
We're thrilled that you are part of the Main Event family! Thank you for posting your interview experience.
If you have any suggestions you'd like to contribute to turn your interview experience from averegae to stellar we'd love to hear! Please feel free to tell your local Manager or the Talent Acquisition team
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Main Event (Dallas, TX) in Sept 2015
Interview
Apply online, HR phone interview, DM 1-on-1 interview, and then a job shadow. Followed by phone conversation with the VP of OPs. You will have all interviews at one of their centers prior to them opening in a office setting. You will also have to complete a background check, a personality assessment, reference need to be provided.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You will be asked to walk through you background and then given the opportunity to ask questions. Throughout the process they will explain the plans for expansion in the near future, etc. They are looking for restaurant managers with full-service backgrounds, however, given the DM has fast-food and fast-casual restaurant management experience, makes no sense why he would make not that they were solely looking for candidates only with full-service backgrounds. This could be because their training program is not up to the par as their competitor, in the same segment.
