The interview process varies across companies but typically involves application submission, screening, interviews (often multiple rounds), assessments, and possibly a final interview or offer stage. It can include behavioral, technical, and situational questions to assess skills and fit for the role.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mama Fu's Asian House (Austin, TX) in Aug 2018
Interview
It was easy and enjoyable at the beginning, with the initial one on one interview with upper management in person and with the HR person on the phone. I had to go through an UNPAID 4 HOUR "day in the life" (or whatever they call that) with a very pleasant GM. It seemed to be a smooth going process until their boss, who called himself a jerk at the workplace, got into interviewing. His dead, cold fish handshake and offensive comment about my professional attire (he looked like he got out of gym, all sweaty) made me not too comfortable at first, but I was confident with myself. At times he seemed distracted. All of those signs were red flags to me at the time of the interview. I am sure he was looking for someone who is a native speaker. I am not, even though I speak quite fluently. My impression of him was he was already decided before he gave me a chance, even though I could be an asset for the company. I found it unprofessional and discourteous for them to never follow up with me even after I emailed and called to try to find out the status. This was my most negative interviewing experience and I wouldn't recommend this company.

Interview
Had the interview. Everything seemed ok but these people are all over the place. They have a newbie call center and are trying to figure out how many people they are going to hire. Most people who are looking for a job want one now not when weeks/months from now. Complete waste of time.
