I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Manhattan Childrens Center (New York, NY)
Interview
It was a generally easy interview that was only two rounds. It was an introductory phone call/screening in which I told them about my experience. Followed by a zoom interview with Melissa. They used to have standards when hiring but that has gone down tremendously in the last few years. If you graduate high school you get a job offer
I applied online. I interviewed at Manhattan Childrens Center (New York, NY) in Sept 2021
Interview
The interview process for a teacher typically begins with submitting an application and résumé, followed by a screening call or video interview. Was very conversational interview. They just asked about my past experiences with teaching. The process often concludes with reference checks before a final offer is made. Some schools may also request a teaching demonstration or sample lesson. Final decisions are typically made after reference checks and a review of all interview components. They did take a while to get back to me once I interviewed and they said it was because they were on break but I thought that was a bit unprofessional.

Question 1
Tell us about yourself and your teaching experience.

Interview
Decent interview process, they limit it to one interview, which is good. Some schools will needlessly do three to four interviews before choosing their candidate. MCC managed to have the interviewee do a site visit as well, which is standard in applying for some schools. It was a very efficient process, rather than performing a site visit at a later date.
