I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mapbox (Remote) in Feb 2022
Interview
Reached out by HR via email. It took about a month to finish the whole process. - Initial HR chat. Mentioned that they use mostly JS for backend work but the interview process is language-agnostic. - Take home project, took about 4-6 hours to finish. In brief, build some APIs by using JS on a template to pass pre-built testcases. - Final interview, including technical and behavioral. Take 4 hours. 1hr each. Provided some sample behavioral questions to prepare. Being rejected. Mostly because of my lack of experience with JS. Interviewers are confused about why I don't have experience on it. Some questions are arrogant. Based on the time it took, I highly recommend people NOT to interview their open positions.
