Glassdoor users rated their interview experience at Maqro Capital as 66.7% positive with a difficulty rating score of 2.33 out of 5 (where 5 is the highest level of difficulty). Conrad arrived 30 minutes late to our initial meeting. We had negotiated a package that included a base salary plus commission with an OTE of $150K. However, the offer letter I eventually received — after a delay of six weeks due to it being sent to the wrong person — outlined a commission-only role.
When I followed up by phone, I was assured someone would get back to me, but I never received a response. Three months later, after reapplying, they contacted me again. When I asked about the previous situation, I was told the employee handling my interview had left and they had “assumed” I was no longer interested.
The handling of this process reflects poor organisation and left me with concerns about the company’s professionalism. I have no intention of pursuing further opportunities with Macro Capital.
The interview went smoothly and was not as difficult as I expected. The interviewer was very friendly and asked some behavioural questions and went through my resume. I enjoyed the interview process.
