I first had a 30 minute phone screening with the hiring manager where I was asked basic questions like my visa status, why I want to work there, my past experiences etc. Next there was a 2 hour technical screening round with the same hiring manager. 1 hour was purely data science questions (all about machine learning models). The next hour was purely coding questions (Python and SQL). The interview was overall good, I wouldn't say easy but I mostly did well. Except for the SQL part at the end. This wasn't really a proper question at all, they just pulled up some production SQL code and scrolled through the entire thing and asked me to explain what was going on, with absolutely no context. But I thought I would be called for the next round considering I did pretty well in everything else. But guess what, I was ghosted. No response at all. Nothing.
