Interview
Very simple process to make sure you can handle a high case load and work well under pressure. Make sure you talk about how much you want to help out the client and see a change with in their lives. Number one thing to say!
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marion County Circuit and Superior Courts (Indianapolis, IN) in Aug 2015
Interview
I sat down and spoke with a Judge about his procedures in his courtroom, my experience and overall knowledge of the civil and criminal side of the justice system. We discussed how to handle potential conflicts within the office. In the position we hold staff must know how to deal with litigants and where to draw the line on what is considered a legal question or question in general. I believe that any person who walks into the office should feel comfortable when they approach staff. As a government employee we are here to assist in many ways and should treat any person coming into the office with respect, even if they become angry with your answer.
