Interview
The application was online at the Marriott Careers website. You answer all of the questions and take a basic personality test. The interview process was very straight forward. I was called shortly after submitting my interview and pre-screened over the telephone. I was then asked to come in and interview with the pool supervisor. The face to face interview was essentially behavioral questions typical for any entry level position.

Interview
Three separate interviews, always one on one. First by my future direct supervisor, then by her boss, then by HR person. Two week process. They called all of my references so make sure to let all of our references know they will get a call.

Question 1
Lots of questions about the "brand" (this is for Renaissance). How do you 'fit' our 'lifestyle' and blah blah. Learn the mottos and the brand identity and sell yourself that way. Lots of cookie-cutter HR questions and hypothetical questions regarding lifeguarding (ex. if this situation happened, how would you respond?)

Interview
First you apply online, two weeks went by and I heard nothing. Then I called the department I wanted to work in and talked to manager and got a interview. It was a semi-long interview with many behavioral questions. They have high standard of service and a lot of benefits so they are selective of who they choose to interview and hire.
