Very simple phone call with 3-4 questions, describing leadership moments, customer experience examples, etc. Follows the situation, task, action, result model in answers so make sure to have situations prepared to talk about.

Recently graduated college with three years experience in the field. Worked for Marriott for a year. This was a four step interview process. Questions were all STAR related and fairly simple. Made it to the final round of interviews to get denied. I had a lot more experience than the people who I saw getting accepted into the program and I had accomplished way more than the others applicants. In other words, I was confused as to why I was initially denied. Tried reaching out to the recruiter from my region to get some feedback and never heard back. Wasn’t worth the heartache.
