I interviewed at Mary Kay for a Proofreader position, which would start as a Contract job with the possibility of becoming a permanent MK employee. I was offered the job but declined due to the dress code, conservative corporate culture, and lack of any rapport with the person who would be my boss. I think this would be a good job for someone who enjoys the company culture, but it's not my cup of tea.
I'm curious as to why it's so difficult to fill this position -- I see the same job listing online every few months, which makes me think people keep quitting or getting fired.
