I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Masimo (Edmonton, AB) in Apr 2020
Interview
My interview process was thorough - it included 5 interviews with a number of team members via phone and video. I was unable to meet in person due to travel restrictions around COVID-19 so they did a great job moving forward with the process virtually. I had the opportunity to chat with a current employee in the territory I applied for which shows how important it is for them to hire the right fit. In terms of questions, there wasn't anything out of the norm when it comes to sales interviews (e.g., what has made me successful in jobs prior, examples of times I've gone above and beyond, my customer approach, track record). I was asked to do a role play for one of my final interviews. They understood I wouldn't have all of the product knowledge and were more so evaluating how I structure a sales call. The hiring manager kept in touch throughout the process regarding next steps and was available to answer questions which contributed to my positive experience.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Masimo (Anchorage, AK) in Dec 2020
Interview
A three interview process that started with the Regional Manager, then VP of the West, and finished off with the VP of Sales for the US. The first couple interviews were more organic and conversational and the last was structured and meant to put you on the spot.
