      Sales Associate Interview

      16 Feb 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Nashville, TN
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Nashville, TN) in Feb 2014

      Interview

The entire process was fast: being notified of your application being pulled, interview and start date all took place within a week. The job seems intimidating at first because of the emphasis on selling memberships. While that is an important aspect of the job, to sell memberships to appointments assigned to you, if you actually try and go by the script, you'll be fine.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

To assess ability to sell memberships, you were asked on the spot to attempt to sell a random object, like a stapler.

Short questions. Easy. Asks about sales experience and customer service. It seems like a good first job. It does appear you would need to work some nights and weekends. You get paid commission for sales on memberships and products.
