It was smooth and comprehensive. The employer made the process less stressful and the pace of the interview was moderate. I feel okay with it. There are different questions that assess your overall competency for the role that you're applying.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the biggest challenge that you have faced for your last job?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Match Education in July 2024
Interview
The interview consisted of a recruiter asking me several questions, including my opinion toward Match Education's "High Expectation, High Support" motto. One question is how I think about teaching and what the role of teacher mean.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Match Education (Boston, MA) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 components:
1) Online application
2) Phone interview
3) On-site interview
Something that I appreciated about this process was that the turnaround time between each step was fairly quick. After I submitted the online application, I was contacted a couple of days later to schedule a phone interview. A few days after my phone interview, I was asked to sign up for an on-site.
The on-site was made up of a school tour, tutor and classroom observations, sample tutorial, one-on-one interview, and Q&A with current Match Corps Members. In whole, this on-site took about 4 hours.
