There was an initial interview, then two panel interviews back to back on Zoom. In between the two panel interviews, there was a "meet the staff" section where you could talk to individuals in the same area you would be working in. The questions were behavioral-based, so basically asking for examples of times you did a certain skill.

I had the initial interview only, and it was about 3 months ago. I'm actually having another initial interview soon for the same position. I'm thankful for this as I can be more prepared. The interview was much more difficult than I expected, and it sounded like later interviews would be even harder. It lasted about an hour. It was a Zoom interview. I got stuck on a few things, mostly having to do with school. I just graduated, but I mentioned some things I learned earlier in school, and upon needing to explain more about those things, I couldn't remember. I could tell that's when everything went south. I was very upset afterwards because the whole experience was so difficult, but I'm over the moon that I get another chance. This time, I have been studying. I looked at all my school projects and made some notes about those along with previous work projects that I can talk about for the behavioral questions. They told me to use the SHARE method to answer behavioral questions (I found what it was later on Google). I also asked a friend who works there for tips. She mentioned that they like to ask situational stuff, which I think is the same as "behavioral" questions. I've been applying to Mayo for years. Since I graduated, I've probably applied for 30 jobs. It's very difficult to get in, yet it's also discouraging because I have friends and family who got hired on their first application. But my dad, one of the smartest people I know, literally applied to hundreds of positions.
