I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mbira Technologies (Chicago, IL) in June 2012
Interview
The Interview here went well. No weird questions, basic getting to kno personality and trying to understand your knowledge of gear. The staff was cool, but there wasn't much to the job.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Mbira Technologies
Interview
I applied on via Craigslist. Either that day or the next day they called me back but left no voicemail or extension number. I didn't even receive an email. So, i emailed them back and received no response. The number that they called me on didn't even allow me to leave a voicemail or to speak with someone. So I figured they weren't interested anymore after their attempt to contact me. So, fast forward about 3 days later, I get a call back from the supervisor/manager. I missed his call so I left a voicemail and he didn't call me back that day. The next day I called him back and he said thank you for calling back , he received my voicemail and was going to call me back later that day. We proceeded to with a preliminary interview over the phone before I could go on with the interview process. First , I was asked why am I interested in this type of position...I answered that one. So the next two questions was a deal breaker. He wanted to know, 1. how many keys are on a piano? 2. Does a passive speaker need an amp? I answered them both wrong and he said both questions have to be answered correctly in order to go forward with the interview process. I was thinking to myself like really? I was upset because I felt like those questions were the two most random questions to ask someone. He didn't even touch my musical background or experience and didn't ask about my work experience. I wasn't even given a chance to explain anything.
