McCarthy Tétrault interview questions

I recently interviewed with this company, and unfortunately, my experience was very negative. During the one-hour interview, I answered every question to the best of my ability, but I was repeatedly told that I didn’t understand the questions. They even insulted me and smiled when I asked only work-related questions, which made me feel belittled and useless. The process felt completely unprofessional and lacked basic civility. Feedback was not constructive, and instead of a fair discussion, I was made to feel incompetent. I hope the company reconsiders its interview approach to treat candidates with respect and give them a genuine opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

Went through 2 stages. 1st stage with HR manager with general questions, 2nd stage with national events manager. I was told there would be a writing test at the third stage. They were very friendly !
