I applied online. I interviewed at McFadden/Gavender Advertising (Phoenix, AZ) in June 2026
Interview
Three to four interview process. Empty promises. You will think you got the job and then they will reject you and look for new candidates. Perfect if you enjoy being lead on and time wasted.

What do you bring to the table that no one else does?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at McFadden/Gavender Advertising (Tucson, AZ) in Apr 2011
Interview
In person, went well. I met the two owners and described my skills and what I would add to the company's web division. We chatted for a while and it was obvious that they were just getting in to the web arena.

Interview
I drove from Phoenix for my first interview. Met with one of the two founders, it was conversational and went well. Met with one more employee in the PR department and it was all very conversational and positive. 5 minutes after I left, I was called and asked to come back next week to spend some time in the office and see how I fit in. I excitedly agreed and drove from Phoenix again for the 2nd round, where they had me make media follow up calls on a product they were promoting for a client, by literally reading off a script. Anyone who works in PR knows this is something they make interns do. I thought, not sure how this is supposed to show my skills but okay I'll do it. Took about 30 minutes and they sent me home. NEVER heard from them again. No feedback, no follow up, nothing, and I had emailed multiple times to check in. Very disappointed that I did 8 total hours of driving to meet with these people and do their b**** work for free so they could never talk to me again. Looks like it was a blessing in disguise considering the employee reviews here.
