The third step was an unpaid assignment (clearly stated): build a PDP, explain the conversion strategy, and record a Loom. After submitting, the process ended with “not to proceed with your candidacy at this time,” with no feedback. When I replied asking for feedback, there was no response.
In eight years I’ve only encountered this a handful of times with assignment-heavy interviews — where candidates present ideas framed as “how you would execute the role,” only to receive a straight rejection without feedback. I submitted the $100 reimbursement invoice as instructed and hope that part doesn’t disappear as well.
