The interview process was quite simple just had to book in a call with the director, I booked it 2 weeks in advance they didn't email me regarding if it was late of notice, within the week of the interview on the Tuesday they changed the interview time which was fine by the Friday which I booked a day off work I was waiting in the call for 10 minutes then nobody joined, I decided to call the company where they told me they already hired somebody for the role, I find it quite disrespectful and time wasting I was not even notified after I decided to book a day off in order to have the interview, extremely disappointed.

Interview then Design Task. Design Task was commercial branding brief for the owner's side company seemed like they may have been farming ideas. Included designing the website, branding alongside packaging so was way beyond reasonable scope for a design assessment. Communication throughout the process was extremely poor and made me wonder if they were ever seriously hiring or were just trying to get designers to build out branding concepts without having to pay. The whole company seems a little suspect with little information online pointing towards other people working there so I'd be careful comitting too much time to any design tasks.
