I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter via email. Then I received a follow-up request for a phone interview with the recruiter. During the phone interview , she asked me to take a wunderlich test asap so she could send my information to the hiring manager. I completed the test that afternoon. About a week later, the same recruiter asked for my information to schedule to fly me in for an in-person interview. After sending the info, I didn’t hear again from her for a week, so I emailed her to follow up just in case she hadn’t received my email. She responded that they had decided to do a phone interview first before flying me up. The phone interview was three days later and very short (approx. 20 minutes). It was obvious that I wasn’t under serious consideration. I finally received a rejection letter two weeks later.
All in all, it was a strange experience that took a month to complete. It didn’t seem like the recruiter and the hiring manager were on the same page, so I would be hesitant to apply there again.
