I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meijer (Camby, IN) in Mar 2015
Interview
The first interview was a phone call where they went over the questions from the applications including your past experiences. The second interview was in store. Where they went over the questions again and then proceeded to a 3rd interview. The third interview is where they asked for my future plans such as schooling etc. they went over the days i ahd filled out in my application as my availability and told me it was unacceptable they would not give me weekends however they would flex for school. this was because there were too many people asking for weekends( which later turned out to be a lie, there was practically no one there) they also told me the original position they had promised me for the morning hrs from our first phone call was no longer available and had been given to another woman.

Interview
They usually set up interviews by calling but I advise calling them. Background takes a little time but after it's just orientation which last about two days just safety and skill training for the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meijer (Caledonia, MI) in May 2016
Interview
Extremely relaxed. I came far over dressed and the interview happened in the break room. So overall the experience was very chill. You'd interview with you prospective boss and the manager over him/her.
