I went through a 4-hour interview process, meeting with several team members back-to-back. Unfortunately, most of them asked nearly identical questions, just phrased differently. I also completed a few short assessments during the session. Despite being assured I would receive a follow-up regardless of the outcome, I never heard back from the recruiter. The lack of communication was highly unprofessional and left a negative impression. In hindsight, the entire process felt like a waste of time. I strongly recommend doing thorough research before committing to an interview with this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a time you faced a challenge at work and how you handled it?
4 hour long superday, 6 different interviews and an assessment on math and investments. Pretty much all behavioral, had questions like "what is a mutual fund," or "what's your market outlook"
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meketa in Nov 2024
Interview
Interview process made no sense. I had one phone informational interview and then was asked to come for an in-person interview. The company did not offer to cover any of my travel expenses. The in-person interview was three hours with about 10 different people total that rotated into the room at different times. The people were friendly and the questions were straightforward but the interview was unnecessarily long and each person asked similar questions. After the interview, I was asked to complete math and finance assessments. These assessments should be the first part of the hiring process not the last. A week later I received a non-personal automated email indicating that they had chosen another candidate for the position. After making the effort to travel to the interview, the automated email felt inconsiderate. In general, the interview process felt discombobulated and lacked professionalism and efficiency.
