The interview process was two parts, first part was via video call and was supposed to last a half and hour and went over an hour because it was very disorganized (interviewer's issue). My computer froze towards the end, and the interviewer's response was "I guess she didn't pay the bill" when the HR rep called me after I lost connection. Was offered a second interview but declined.
Manager was extremely unimpressed, overworked, and I was not expecting a second interview as he did not seem interested in me at all. He talked about his "graphic design work" he was forced to do because they did not have a full time designer on staff. Reason he was hiring was because he needed "help". He talked 1/2 the interview about the work he had done, and the HR rep had to sit in with him. I am assuming because he had a very abrasive personality (he did) and had scared off other candidates.
This place has a lot of good reviews, but has some dysfunctional staff on board that need some assistance with interviewing and have to have an HR rep sit with him. He rubbed me the wrong way most of the interview, and I would not suggest interviewing at this place. Would not recommend it to other colleagues, etc.
The worst part was they said at one point that they had reached out to my current supervisors on Linked In without my knowledge and spoke to them about me. Very unethical, and honestly should be illegal in every state. I was being very discreet in my interview process and that was another reason I didn't pursue a second interview.
