I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York, NY) in June 2016
Interview
I applied on-line and was quickly prompted to do an online assessment, which lasted 30 minutes. They scheduled me for a brief phone interview with an HR recruites 2-weeks later and a face-to-face interview another week later. I interviwed with an HR recruiter who was very pleasant, but the program manager I interviwed with seemed very RACIST and BIAS towards me--Almost as if she was disgusted of me. The questions were difficult but luckily I was WELL prepared becaue I've received previous training on job interviews and body language assessments. After she realized that this young black girl was answering the questions so well she began asking me questions far beyond my field of study ( For Ex. She asked if I know how to develop a website or IT applications for computers) (when my resume clearly showed I went to school for Health Care Management) I immediatley picked up on what she was doing and her PREJUDICE antics for discouraging me, but thank God I didn't get this position because I probably would of been stuck in another full time job with a bunch of racist white, slave driving managers who constantly manipulate the people of color and deny any form of promotion and career advancements. I hope they find they white girl they are looking for to fill this position. I was disgusted by that inteview and they made me wait almost 2 months to tell me I didn't receive the job (Good, because this motivated me to go back to school for my Masters! and I start the program next week.)

Interview
There were multiple rounds of interviews with different levels of managment. Its a long process and because you dont meet with the person you will actually work with until the last round it can be difficult to know if the position is a good fit and if there is chemistry with the faculty member. Everyone is very kind and helpful throughout the process.

Interview
As soon as the phone interview process began it was doomed. She had no interest no energy. It’s like I was on the list and it needed to get done. Shame because I would have loved a real shot.
