I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Interview
I applied online, did the online admin skills test and then had a phone interview with an hr person who was great. They invited me in for an interview. I did a brief interview with the hr person which was on the light side, pretty much giving me info and an idea of what to expect, and some tips to do well on the interview. about an hour later the same day I was sent to interview with two hiring managers.
That interview was great, and they requested my references. I thought i was going to get the job but two months later ended up finding out they went with someone else.
Since they really liked me they sent me to interview with another department and I got the job! Two months but I'm finally in !
Tips:
-These are behavioral interviews, so they want to know about diff scenarios and they want you to be VERY detailed. They are really looking for personality and how you will work with patients/physicians so if you know you'll be nervous take some time to prep on my questions and you'll do great
-As with any interview, do some research on MSKK because they asked me in both interviews.

Interview
A couple of weeks after I applied for the position, I received an email from a recruiter asking to set up a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 10 min and she asked very basic questions just to get to know me. We proceeded to set up a video interview for later in the week. The video interview was with the recruiter where she went on to ask me questions about the company and also situational questions from past experiences. For the situational questions I was required to answer using the STAR method (important to know what this is). The video interview lasted around 30 min and once it was complete, we set up a date for me to come in and meet with two Administrative Coordinators and the recruiter, herself. I met with the recruiter first and it was a very brief conversation. She provided me with helpful interview tips that will help make the interview go a lot smoother. The interview with the Administrative Coordinators lasted around an hour and I had to responded using the STAR method. That interview went well and the following week I met with the Doctor I would be working for. The Doctor asked me questions to get to know me and was very nice.
Everyone in this hospital is very nice and wants to make sure you are a good fit for the company. The questions were about the hospital, past experiences, and myself. It is important to know what the STAR method is in advance to help you when it comes time to interview.
