I applied online and had a phone screening with the hiring manager two days letter. She was very excited about my candidacy and invited me to an in-person interview two weeks later. During this interview, I met with her and another manager I would dotted line report in to. Both conversations were very easy. Throughout the whole process it sounded like she had really wanted to hire me. About a week after the interview, the hiring manager called me and tells me a key person left their position so they were re-evaluating the role. During this call she literally offered me the job and asked for my salary requirements(said "we would love to hire you but we have to iron a few things out first) and told me I should expect a call in two weeks with a final decision. Two weeks come and go, I never hear back from her. I emailed to follow up and receive her out of office so I check online and they filled the position days ago and never had the decency to even send me a form rejection! I put other jobs on hold (probably very naively) because she essentially offered me the job or at least I thought she did. This was the leader of talent acquisition I was dealing with too! I'll never apply to this company again.
