Initial screening call, then in-person interview. You need to take a test before the in-person interview happens. Standard questions: why you want to work there and customer service-related questions. What department would you prefer to work in and why. Would you consider other departments
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Menards (Chicago, IL) in May 2020
Interview
Questions were general and all job related. Nothing unexpected. Straight forward as far as Menards stuff goes. I’ve been there a couple years and have moved up quickly. They watch for dedicated team members and rewards those who perform.

Question 1
How would I handle team members who frequently ask the same question over and over without retaining new information/training?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Menards (Escanaba, MI) in Oct 2015
Interview
More intense than you would expect for a retail job, which is a good thing because they invest in their employees and want to make sure they are picking the right ones for the job.
