I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz International (Milton Keynes, England) in July 2016
Interview
The interview process with MBUK in Milton Keynes was very long for no apparent reason. After completing an online application a first round of recorded videos interview takes place, this takes place through an online platform for video interviews where the candidate is asked on screen questions and then recorded through webcam while providing an answer within a preset time-frame.
This first round was followed by three additional rounds of face-to-face interviews, each of these rounds was an interview with two people: a senior business manager and a functional team member. During the first of these rounds a business challenge is performed. The candidate is given a 'business case' and an amount of time to prepare a presentation about the topic and answer the questions. The second half of this first round is a mechanical set of questions prepared by MB for all candidates. These questions are heavily interrogative, probing and situation-oriented.
The second and third phases of face-to-face interviews are less formal and centre heavily around the role and subject matter. These stages do not include any tests, and are conversational.
Interview times for each round are 45 minutes for video interviews (7-9 videos), 3 hours for first face-to-face (including business challenge and presentation), 1.5 hours for each subsequent stage.
No hiring decision was made at the end of the process, just another invitation for another round of face-to-face interviews which was declined.

Just an interview with 3 persons. One from HR and the other 2 from the department of the offer. They were really nice. It was like a conversation about me, my skills and my goals.

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz International (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2017
Interview
came on-campus ( at UT Dallas ) for interview, half an hour long interview. 3 interviewers were these. 1 Project Manager. 2. Team Lead. 3. Project Management Person. Technical and Managerial questions. The only issue I felt - they never returned back to me (neither with an offer nor a denial)
