I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Merrill (London, England) in July 2018
Interview
Attended interview at BAML London HQ however no show. Arrived at 8:45am and asked for Interviewer (Senior VP) at main reception. Receptionist failed to get hold of interviewer (after several calls, voicemails, emails) so was told to wait on sofas (waiting area) and come back in 10mins to retry getting hold of interviewer. Again no response. Eventually left buildig at 9:20am to return to work.
Received call from in-house recruitment and advised interviewer out of office and a delegate has been assigned to conduct interview however they failed to communicate this to me.
In-house recruitment then re-arranged interview as telephone interview which lasted 30mins, which went well. 3 weeks later was told that they have decided to go ahead with another candidate.
Recruitment team hard time get hold of for updates and very unprofessional as no call backs or responses to voicemail or emails.
