I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Merry Maids (Vacaville, CA) in Sept 2015
Interview
Easy interview, you go in and they have you fill out one of their application and its about a 15 minute interview. They will hire you as long as you have a clean driving record and drug test. They just want to know you enjoy cleaning.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you work full time? What days are you available? When can you start?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Merry Maids (Olympia, WA)
Interview
I walked in and asked to fill out an application, was asked if I was available to interview afterwards. Management was very friendly during the interview and I got hired by the end of it.
Overall the serious talk only took about 20 minutes (I asked a lot of questions) and the rest was just casual chatting. She took notes the entire time based on what I'd say to see if I was a people person or had basic cleaning knowledge.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What is your favorite (and least favorite) thing about cleaning?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Merry Maids (Saint Augustine, FL) in Jan 2018
Interview
Lots of questions asked. Staff really tries to make sure that employees are a good fit for the job and vise versa. They do let you know ahead of time that cleaning houses professionally is a very physically demanding job. They also ask questions to determine if full or part time is best for you
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Merry Maids (Maryland Heights, MO) in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied online and was called in order to schedule an interview. The interview was basic, making sure I was up to the work and that I would fit the part. I had the job at the end of the interview and began orientation the next day.
