I applied online. I interviewed at MetLife in Nov 2013
Interview
Relatively straightforward phone screen with recruiters. They seemed to be more knowledgable about the hiring manager and the job details than most. Required to fill out an employment application after applying online and going through first call with recruiter. Then on to the hiring manager, which was a 30 minute phone call. Next step was to complete a short assignment within about a week: Prepare a presentation based on a business scenario. I assume there would've been one more call or perhaps an in person interview after this. (I started a different job around this stage/did not move forward in the interview process.)

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MetLife (Bridgewater, NJ) in June 2016
Interview
Had phone interview with recruiter a few weeks after I applied. Then had another phone interview the following day with her manager. Then had an in person interview about 2 weeks later (was rescheduled a few times on their part). Had a great in person interview experience. Hiring manager was very friendly, showed me around, and introduced me to team members. He even mentioned to one that he was trying to convince me to work there. Left the interview feeling very confident as he mentioned that he would bring me in for 2 more interviews (one with someone on his team and the other with HR). After 2 weeks went by and I didn't hear anything about the additional interviews, I followed up with the recruiter, but he never responded. Received a very generic email 5 weeks after the in person interview that indicated that they would not be moving forward with my candidacy for the role. At this point, the generic email was annoying to receive so long after the fact, I already assumed that it wasn't an option. Would have appreciated it much more if the recruiter just responded to my follow up and indicated that they went in a different direction.Really liked the hiring manager, but he was misleading and his positivity just left me confused in the end.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MetLife (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2015
Interview
Phone screen with recruiter followed by phone screen with hiring manager. I then had to complete a case study and prepare a presentation. I was then flown to Charlotte and had 3 hours of interviews with the hiring manager, his boss, and another associate. After 3 hours of interviews, I had to present the case study to the three interviewers and answer any of their questions.
