I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MetLife (Warwick, RI) in June 2011
Interview
Met with 3 piers, then two managers. I asked to interview people on the team I would be added to and then I was hired. I was given a drug test and a security clearance. But, there was no testing of my skill set. I was concerned that they did not have me automatically meet with the team I'd be working on, so that is why I requested to do that, which they allowed.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MetLife (Cary, NC)
Interview
Two rounds of technical interview and one round of behavior interview. Will ask you to write a code and expect some logical questions. Overall technical interview is fine if your fundamentals are clear.

Question 1
Some questions related to locks and multi threading.
The overall interview process was pretty much as you would expect from a large multi national organization. You must get past the hiring manager before interviewing with the actual manager for the position.
