I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2020
Interview
I had 2 rounds of interview; first one focused on networking, and security fundamentals. The interview process was very informal. It was a skype/zoom interview and had maybe 10-15 questions. It was not hard. Second interview was a coding interview. It was mostly writing code on a shared screen/IDE, but not running it. One of the key aspects was to pay careful attention to details.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in Mar 2025
Interview
I typically love the interview process at Meta - it's structured, clear on the topics, and respectful to our time. My experience with the recruiter was fantastic (as always with Meta).
With this particular role, the interviewers did not stick the domains they were supposed to test us on. I understand that as interviewees we're supposed to be ready for any type of questions. However, being quizzed on networks when the interview schedule claims it a "security" domain, threw me off completely. Level of difficulty was a mismatch as well. The recruiter & information as per the JD was for entry-level role, but the questions were for a mid/advanced level role.
