I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in June 2021
Interview
After being headhunted, I had a first stage discovery call with the Recruiter. After this, I went through four separate behavioural/situational style interviews with four different managers across the function.
I was surprised at how casually a team of recruiters took an interview with a fellow recruiter. Given that I did not receive an offer, I suspect the decision to not move forward was made early because my interviewers showed a very clear lack of interest in what I had to say. One even spent most of the interview sending messages on his phone.
Panel of 5 interviews, all virtual and one to one. Each had a different theme, my recruiter prepped me in advance. Looking for candidates to use the STAR method and discuss past experiences.
