I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Meta (Sunnyvale, CA) in June 2022
Interview
First was an interview with the hiring manager. Then the recruiter prepped me for the loop. The prep was extensive and they were very transparent about what they would cover and look for. First was a presentation I had to give to a group of about 10 covering my experience. Then I had 4 different 45 minute 1:1 conversations with different people covering different abilities.

Question 1
They focus heavily on the STAR methodology. Questions generally follow the "tell me about a time..." or "how would you deal with..." pattern. All conversations were in this style, with no technical trivia or basic Q&A about knowledge of process etc.
Very thoughtful process for a contracting role in a marketing function. Sharp engaged questions. Not overly laborious. Clear and relevant to job description. Did 3 rounds of interviews. No real feedback would be only criticism.

1. Why do you want this role?
2. What do you think biggest challenges are for us at the moment?

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (Mountain View, CA) in Nov 2025
Interview
Efficient process that involved clear communication with scheduler, recruiter and then interviewers. Four rounds, each with a different topic area focus - always ending with a chance to ask questions and beginning with a bit on ‘tell me about yourself.’ Decision followed pretty quickly after the interview process.
