Interview
Although the job is in Tel Aviv, Israel,
I was interviewed by a team from San Francisco.
Following a successful telephone interview, I was summoned to a Zoom interview and provided with a preparation booklet. I diligently read and absorbed the materials. The 45-minute Zoom interview was conducted by an interviewer who seemed eager to wrap up. I selected an application - any application that is not meta - and was presented with statistical questions. Unfortunately, I found myself unable to answer 2 of the statistical questions he asked, which was a significant challenge.

Question 1
If the number of users of a certain application decreases, how will you research the issue?
They asked basic statistic questions, along with questions about specific scenarios. Be prepared by reviewing all of your introduction course material and make sure that you’re able to explain both simple and more complicated concepts.
Began with a recruiter phone screen (15 min) to discuss background and fit for role. Then continued to a technical phone screen (30 min which technical team member). Would have continued to onsite with coding interview and additional behavioral and technical interviews.
