A sourcer reached out to me for this role and I thought it sounded interesting and decided to pursue the opportunity. Through the process (3 rounds), I spoke with the Hiring Manager, the Hiring Manager's boss, a couple key stakeholders that would interact with this role, and an analyst that supports the team.
HANDS DOWN, Facebook has some of the stronger, if not the best, recruiting practices. Everyone came to their respective interviews having read and digested my resume. Each interviewer took the time to get to know me and how I would my experience would fit the role. All the senior leaders in this process understood my background - what I brought to the table holistically, and where I could go with the role. Not many hiring managers can say that.
The process as a whole was clear, efficient (as possible - sometimes it takes time to schedule senior leaders), and intentional. More companies need to use this as an example of how to do recruiting well!
