**WARNING: Pyramid Scheme**
Someone called first and asked some questions and then invited me in for an in-person interview. I found out later that she was the receptionist.
When I arrived there were about 3 other people waiting to be interviewed. Before I was interviewed another person arrived and when I left another two had arrived.
The interviewer was a different person who didn't ask a whole lot. She kept deflecting my questions about the position and the company and what they did. She used the phrase, "Well this is just a preliminary interview" more than several times as an answer to questions I had about what the position required one to do.
She also talked a lot about the growth of the company and how they specialize in 'events' and that they are looking to hire people who are interested in moving up very quickly to management positions. She said salary would be $400-800 at first: hourly pay or performance; whichever is higher. Within a year she wants the people in this position to become management level and make upwards of $60k a year.
She still hadn't at this point answered any specific questions I had about what the position does. Anytime I asked questions like this she deflected yet again and asked, "Does this sound too intense for you?". She said they move very quickly and that I would hear back by 2:30pm that day (it was almost noon at this point).
She briefly mentioned that second interviews would take on-site at an 'event' so you could get first hand experience about what they're all about.
A guaranteed second interview; possibly guaranteed job offer.
I did get a phone call back at roughly 2:30pm from the receptionist saying that the interviewer had a few more questions for me but still gave me the go-ahead to the second round. I already knew I wasn't going to go back but I already had suspicions about where the second interview would be held. She sent me a confirmation email and the interview was to take place at Sam's Club. I'm almost positive you end up giving out product samples and selling at places like Sam's Club or Costco. The confirmation email also wanted a background check test filled out prior to attending the second interview.
**They only very recently set-up a website. I have seen their posts for awhile and never applied since I could find no record of their existence. Their website and social media has a lot of fluff posts on them.
