Several tests, including aptitude in the content area and personality tests. Two interviews, script assignment. Made it to the final interview but was not offered the position. Disappointing, but everyone was pleasant during the process.

I received an invite to the initial timed assessment but did not make it past this stage, despite 10+ years of education experience, and 6+ years as an English teacher, as well as a Master’s in Education. Much of the first 15-min timed assessment was about SWBAT standards, and the second timed 15-min test involved a series of pattern or math questions. The last assessment asked for 2 pieces of feedback I would give on a video lesson. In 2 days, I received a reply stating “We appreciate the energy and effort you put forth in your application and assessments, and we enjoyed learning more about you through these tasks. After reviewing your application closely, we've made the tough decision not to move forward with your candidacy this time.” However, I believe my resume clearly meets the qualifications for the job. I was surprised not to get to the interview stage.
