I recently interviewed with Michigan Millers Mutual and had a positive experience with the team. Everyone I spoke with was professional, courteous, and seemed happy to be there. It’s clear that the company values their employees. I felt a genuine connection with the people I met with and could see myself thriving in that kind of environment. I had a few concerns, but ultimately I was disappointed by the compensation offered, which was minimum for the pay range posted. For the level of experience and value I bring, this fell short of my expectations. Unfortunately from a career standpoint, I really wouldn’t be gaining much by leaving my current position, aside from the potential of a better work environment. A more competitive offer might have changed my perspective on the hybrid work schedule. Overall, seems to be a solid company with great people, but they may need to reassess if they want to stay competitive and attract experienced professionals.
